Why We Built This
Last updated: 1 April 2026
Most resources for porn addiction fall into one of two traps: they shame people more than they were already shaming themselves, or they offer a watered-down grace that does not take the struggle seriously. Both fail the people they are trying to help.
Return exists to hold truth and mercy together. To name the real harm of pornography without using that truth as a weapon. To speak to loneliness, numbness, trauma, and meaninglessness -- not just willpower and sin management.
What This Is
Return is a private, Christ-centered resource for adults struggling with pornography, shame, relapse, and the loneliness that often drives those cycles. It is not a church, not a therapy clinic, and not an accountability app. It is a quiet place to encounter grace and take one honest step.
The site is operated by Jani Kaipainen and published from Finland. It is a free, non-commercial project offered free of charge.
What We Believe
Christ has not turned away from you. Freedom begins with honesty. Healing is usually a path, not a switch. Grace is not permissiveness -- it is the environment where real change becomes possible.
Who We Are Not
We are not a replacement for pastoral care, therapy, community, or crisis support. We strongly encourage people to find real human relationships and qualified professional help where it is needed. The AI companion on this site is a supportive tool. It is not a substitute for being known and loved by real people.
If you are in immediate danger or feel unsafe, please seek immediate local help appropriate to your situation. Do not rely on this site or its AI chat for urgent support.
